Like an idiot I've signed up for the London Marathon at the last minute.  Long story, but I'm basically stepping in for someone to help out a small charity that is doing some great work.  

I've never run anywhere near that distance and I've now only got 34 days left to learn how to.  I'm aiming to run the whole distance and to make matters worse, if I reach my fundraising target (quite hard in this short time frame) I'll do it dressed as a parrot! 

So dig deep people, there's a sweaty parrot ready to take flight! 

A bit about the charity.....

Rainforest Concern are a small but well established UK based charity, that is currently running protection, conservation and preservation projects worldwide.  The charity has a direct and significant impact in areas where wildlife, ecosystems and remote human habitats are under threat.  They are currently running large scale projects in Europe, South America and Asia and as they are a small company can ensure they maximise and direct funding to where it is needed the most.
