Vitality London 10,000 2016 · 30 May 2016 ·

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Hi everyone,

thank you so much for stopping by at my just-giving web page! I have a goal, which is to run 1 race per month for a year. For my May race choice I have the honour of being invited to run the Vitality London 10,000 race for the Spinal Research team!

Raising money and awareness for such an amazing charity is very important to me for quite a few reasons. The most important is I strongly believe that curing spinal cord injuries will be possible one day and the research on how to get there is essential for all those individuals whose lives will be greatly improved! Also I am working on spinal cord injury research myself currently pursuing my PhD which is funded by this awesome organization.

Thank you so much for contributing towards spinal cord injury research. Every little bit counts!

Best,

Ellen
