Story
On Spring Bank Holiday weekend, Gareth, Ellie and Sandra will be taking a short stroll...
We'll be donning our well-worn walking boots and taking part in the London 2 Brighton Challenge 2017, walking (and possibly crawling) 100km in 24 hours, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. There'll be no sleeping along the way, only rest stops to re-fuel. We'll set off from Old Deer Park, Richmond, in London on May 27th, and walk a full 100km (63 miles) to Brighton, arriving on the 28th.This is no easy task! It'll push us physically and mentally to our limits, then beyond.
Ellie and Sandra completed the Challenge back in 2014, and swore 'never again', but this time they have a new team mate - Gareth, who (perhaps unwittingly) wanted to join the 'fun'! Our team name is rather aptly 'Never Say Never Again...'
We're raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of our Mums, each of whom we lost to cancer far too soon.
We'd love you to donate whatever you can - every single penny makes a difference to someone in a situation so many of us find ourselves in. We'll make sure every single step counts.
Thanks for donating - we truly appreciate it!
Ellie, Sandra & Gareth
