In March, I will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for St John Ambulance Cymru. I am absolutely terrified but it will be worthwhile to help the charity achieve their vision - first aid for everyone, anytime, anywhere.
At St John Ambulance Cymru, our mission is to ensure that no one dies due to a lack of first aid in a life threatening emergency situation. Supported by 4,000 volunteers, we offer first aid training to adults and young people in Welsh communities to ensure there is always a first aider nearby. With half of our volunteers being under 18 years old, we are proud to provide opportunities to young people, helping to develop health professionals of the future.
