Ellie Vickers fundraiser to Little Princess Trust

Sarah Vickers is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Ellie's hair donation · 4 June 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hello everyone, my name is Ellie and i am 10 years old. For a while now I have been thinking about donating my hair to Little Princess Trust. Due to the pandemic and people needing help more now than ever, I think its finally time to do this. Cancer doesn't stop because of a pandemic.

I want to do something good for the world and help somebody. I promise that on the 4th June 2021 i will donate at least 12 inches of my hair and raise some funds along the way. Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. I would like to raise £550 to provide the cost of a wig so that Little Princess Trust can keep doing their amazing work.

I can probably guarantee that every person reading this knows someone that has been effected by cancer and unfortunately a lot of us have lost loved ones through it. I myself have lost way too many from my family and it is heart breaking. Now its time for me to give a little back.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
