Story
This October, I’m setting myself the challenge of walking 100km in memory of my dad, who sadly passed away two years ago due to Parkinson’s disease. Dad was always a keen fundraiser and particularly enjoyed taking part in Parkinson’s walks to raise money for research and support. Fundraising was something that was really important to him, so I wanted to continue that tradition and do something that I know he would have enjoyed. I’m hoping to raise as much as possible towards research and helping to find better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for Parkinson’s.
Cure Parkinson's is working with urgency to fund research looking for ways to slow, stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson's. Any donations will be hugely appreciated!
