Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page for my MacMillan Cancer Support fundraising! 

This year I am determined to raise money for this charity because of its’ commitment to supporting the 3,000,000 people in the UK currently living with Cancer, like my mum, throughout their treatment and through to survivorship. 

With my second year of University flowing straight into a placement year in Southampton at the same time of my mum receiving her surgery. I regrettably hadn’t had an opportunity to personally thank any of the Nurses for all their hard work to provide the best care possible for my mum. 

But I know that this care my mum received wouldn’t have been possible without the voluntary funding from charities, like MacMillan, which the dedicated teams of Nurses, Doctors, and Researchers depend on to continue their careers. 

This is why I will be running the ABP half marathon 🏃🏽‍♀️ - even though those who know me know I’m definitely not an endurance runner!! 

Alongside other smaller fundraising opportunities over the next few months to hopefully reach my target of £2,000 by the anniversary of my mum’s surgery (28th June 2023) 💪🏼
