Story
I took part in the Nottingham Hospital's Charity Robin Run 2021. The challenge was to run 13.1 miles as a half Marathon or at your own pace.
On the 27th March I ran a half Marathon distance along the South Downs Way from the Jack and Jill windmill towards Lewes. The first stretch was glorious with beautiful sunshine and breathtaking views... however the return journey uphill and into the wind was much more challenging and less enjoyable!
The thought of the kind and hardworking staff on the Fraser ward at Nottingham City Hospital kept me going and I hope that my effort will help raise some money so that they can continue to support patients and their families during challenging times.
Thank you xx
