I have worked for UHS in the Capital Projects team for 5 years now and in that time I have been fortunate enough to be part of some brilliant construction projects including the GICU extension at the front of the main hospital and most recently the PAH Rooftop Garden and Wellbeing Hub.  Seeing the appreciative look on the faces of the staff when we hand over a finished project, as well as knowing that the work that we do improves the patient experience, is really satisfying and it’s great to feel as though my job is truly making a difference.

I recently decided I wanted to take on the challenge of running the Great South Run and thought why not try to raise some money for the hospital whilst I’m doing it.
