Story

Having recently become a father for the first time, I wasn't able to understand the joy/love a child could bring.

Luckily for me and my partner, our little girl was perfectly healthy.

Other new parents aren't as fortunate to experience this or conditions may develop later in the child's life.

For me, this is why the Make-A-Wish charity is such a worthy cause (as are all others charities - Prostate Cancer, Calm, PDSA etc...).

Make-A-Wish grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They're given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever whatever their future may hold. They want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!

To see the work the charity are doing please visit their website via the link below...

If you've followed the link above you can see that not every wish is a grand experience, some children just want a holiday with their family or small luxury item (as all kids do big and small!)..

So to help the charity, I'm committing to raising sponsorship funds by completing the Ride London 100 in August this year. It wont be easy - especially as I'm currently so unfit!

If a child/family gets to make a memory they will never forget  on  the back of of some handwork and commitment then every bead of sweat or piece of effort will be worth it.

Please donate what/if you can. £1 instead of a chocolate bar, or a couple of quid instead of a coffee, it'll quickly add up.

This is the the first time and probably the last time I'll ever ask for donations like this...

Not sure if its still a thing but please ensure you gift aid if you donate!

Much Love

Elliott
