Story
Hi,
Frankie and I are undertaking the National Three Peaks Challenge on the 24th September to raise money for the Hillingdon Brain Tumour & Injury Group (HBTIG) to help as many people get the support they need whilst living with & treating Brain Tumours.
Some of you may know that my own Father was recently diagnosed with brain cancer, and the HBTIG have been amazing with their support and their education - and I thought this was the best way to give back.
The National Three Peaks Challenge is where a participant must summit all three of the highest peaks in England, Scotland & Wales in under 24 hours.
The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft) - twice the ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks, over a similar total walking distance. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
