Story

Ellis is a very special, loving, caring and patient boy who has a strong bond with his Granny. She was there when he was born into water 11 years ago and it seems fitting that his fundraising should start back in the water as he swims 1 mile to raise money for the Alzheimer’s society. Ellis says that he hopes that in the future no one else has to lose their loved ones to this horrible disease that takes away those you love so slowly and cruelly. He is lucky that he has known her love even if only for a short time and can know that in return he brought the joy of being a very ‘hands on’ Granny into hers.

Please give generously and help Ellis to make his contribution to the research into dementia and the treatment of Alzheimer’s and other dementia related illnesses

Thank you x
