Story
Bloody hell, we're doing a race!
This December 1st, Jenn (who is not at all sporty) and Ellis (who is better at it) are running the Victoria Park Red Run. It's a 5k race on World AIDS Day, and we are running to raise money for the awesome Terrence Higgins Trust, the longest-standing HIV and sexual health charity in the UK.
If you have any spare pocket money, please consider sponsoring us. And if you are around on the 1st in London come and watch us on the day! There will be drag and beer and a big old queer disco after.
Thanks, you are all GREAT.
Jenn & Ellis.
Here's some more info about the run:
Taking place on Saturday the 1st of December 2018 the 30th World AIDS Day anniversary the World AIDS Day Red Run is a 10K or 5K charity run through leafy Victoria Park, East London to support 30 essential HIV charities across the UK! The 2018 Red Run takes place against the backdrop of a momentous time in the world of HIV. We have seen a dramatic fall in new HIV diagnosis, particularly amongst gay men in London. London has exceeded the UNAIDS 90:90:90 target.
This World AIDS Day, we need your support to enable us to work toward zero stigma and zero transmissions. #ZeroHIV
Undetectable=Untransmittable is an evidence-based statement. The brilliant fact that a person living with HIV diagnosed early and accessing treatment is likely to live as long as someone of a similar age and background.
