Myself (👣) and Parker (🐾) will be running 9k on the 15th/16th May to raise funds for CK9.

Together, with support from the other 2-legged and 4-legged people we live with, we foster Romanian Rescues. These dogs come from the most awful start in life and we play a huge part in helping them settle in to a routine and a loving home before they make their journey to their forever home and their well-deserved happily ever after.

Bringing these dogs in such desperate need of TLC over to the UK is of course not without cost. We want to ensure our UK dogs remain safe, too, so all rescues have vigorous health screenings and are fully vaccinated (and where possible neutered) before traveling.

Cloud K9 funds the medical bills for some dogs. In the past 12 months we've used donations to help dogs who've been hit by cars, abused at the hands of owners, starved, left chained and even shot. Every one of these dogs has suffered incredible pain at the hands of humans, but every one show forgiveness. We really don't deserve our canine companions.

CK9 also runs neuter clinics in Romania to try and stop the street dog problem. Prevention, as opposed to reaction, is the foundation of ensuring there are no more innocent lives lost.
