East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre is raising money for East London Mosque
Story
Assalamu 'alaikum warahmatullah,
The East London Mosque would like to thank everyone for their incredible financial support. We completed the Maryam Centre in 2013, then in 2015 purchased the Synagogue building – Alhamdulillah!
However, our efforts do not end here. This Ramadan we need to continue our Sadaqah, to make the House of Allah debt free!
The Mosque and Centre play a significant role in serving the communities of London and beyond, through education, advice services, interfaith dialogue, and social enterprise. This has been possible by the Grace of Allah, Who has blessed us with your generous support.
We have temporarily rented out the Synagogue building for Islamic use, insha’Allah. This will ensure the community’s investment is put to good use, and help to reduce the Mosque’s debt. The future plans are being explored Insha'Allah.
Please continue to donate, and encourage your family and friends, so we can clear our debt of over £3million. We hope to make this house of Allah debt free, insha’Allah.
The Mosque and Centre now provides:
· Prayer space for over 7000 worshippers
· A permanent visitor centre for non Muslims
· Education and religious learning
· Health and fitness facilities for men and women
· Improved funeral service
· Projects and services for the benefit of the community
Approximately 1.7 million people use the Mosque and Centre each year. Your donations will benefit the lives of these service users and their prayers attributed to your donations, insha’Allah.
