We are a nurse (Ashlee) and a social worker (Eloise) from Poole who work for our local learning disabilities community team and are fast approaching our 30th birthdays.

We decided we wanted to make it count by raising some money for a charity with meaning to us.

Bournemouth Gateway Club provides a structured programme of developmental, personal wellbeing and leisure activities for many of the wonderful people with learning disabilities who we also support. They give help and support for them, their families, dependents and carers. Without the Gateway Club many could become socially isolated and lose educational opportunities.

The club survives purely on volunteers and donations. In the last couple of years due to lack of funds and COVID some opportunities like this one have been lost so support for local groups is needed now more than ever.

We are determined to reach our target so please donate if you are able to and click gift aid. We will be jumping on the 15th April 2023. All support is greatly needed and appreciated!
