I am fund raising for Hear Us in Croydon as I am a former resident and my Mum was too. My Mum has lived with Schizophrenia for the majority of her life and over the years I have realised the lack of support that charities such as local, small charities like "Hear Us" get. My Mum lived in Croydon for 47 years and relied on the support of mental health services to help her get through in life. Through fund raising I'd like to be able to give back to a charity who are trying to raise awareness for mental illness.
