Whilst young people generally have been less affected than other age groups by the COVID-19 infection, they have been disproportionately impacted by the social, educational and economic impacts of the pandemic. 

There is not one programme or intervention that is going to be the "quick fix" but charities such as The Prince's Trust are here to help. They will be continuing to work alongside delivery partners across the UK to offer hundreds of free courses, grants and mentoring opportunities to inspire young people, from all backgrounds, to build their confidence and start a career. At the start of October, I will be attempting to climb the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales in 24 hours, trekking around 26 miles and ascending to a total height of almost 3,000m. Gulp. All to raise money for The Prince's Trust.
