Elves Go to Oz on National Alzheimer's Society Elf Day · 9 December 2016

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are visiting our 3 grandchildren, Grace (9) and twins Jack & Frankie (7) in Australia. Last year Grampy surprised them by dressing up as Father Christmas.

This year we leave for Sydney on December 9th Alzheimer's Society's Elf Day http://elfday.alzheimers.org.uk/, so we plan to travel from Heathrow in our elf costumes to surprise our fellow passengers as well as the grandchildren. We are not sure if we will get through immigration but will take the risk in the hope that we can raise lots of money to help lead the fight against dementia.

Christmas can be a very lonely time for families living with dementia, you can help transform their lives with the money you raise, getting us one step closer to a cure.

We hope you might reward our embarrassment  by making a small donation via this JustGiving page.
