I have just come back from the most challenging, exhausting yet wonderful and amazing trek in dessert conditions with temperatures averaging between 38-40 degrees. We were  trekking 110km over 7 days across rocky rubble and mountainous terrain with a group of 35 dedicated fellow trekkers and camping in the dessert every night. 

The trek was far more challenging then we all thought but everyone was amazing and coped so well with the hot conditions-  we became an amazing trek family. 

I have done this for the Salisbury Hospital charity - The Stars Appeal because I have worked at the hospital as a midwife for 25 years and know how much the stars funding adds to all of our experience to make it so much better for staff and patients.
