Story
In 2014 my daughter's best friend Zoe lost her battle with a brain tumour. During her treatment, Zoe's family were supported by Young Lives v Cancer, and an amazing team of people have been raising funds for the Charity ever since in Zoe's memory. This year its my turn. When I'm feeling daunted by the challenge of running a marathon, I think of Zoe and the courageous way she faced her treatment, always with a smile on her face. This is for you Zoe, and your awesome family.
When I applied for a place to run the London Marathon in Zoe's memory, I never imagined I'd be invited to join the team. Yet here I am, actually training for a marathon! Just as well I love running. I've got an amazing team of people supporting my training. I'll post updates when I have news to share.
Please donate, every penny you give will make a difference to young cancer patients like Zoe and their families. Thank you for your support, it means the world to me and to Zoe's family.
