The newest addition to our family is my little Nephew Theo. Theo decided he was coming into the world slightly earlier than planned back in November. Along with his original condition of Spina Bifida he has developed some other complications along the way and is currently still in hospital. Since his birth he has had to stay in two main Childrens Hospitals, firstly in Manchester before being transferred over to Birmingham. During this time my sister, brother in law and niece have been lucky enough to secure a room at two different Ronald Mcdonald Houses next door to both hospitals. This has meant that they have been able to be close by and visit daily without the need to travel from home or incur expensive hotel bills. The most amazing thing about these places is that it is all FREE and is their place to stay until Theo finally comes home.

Because of this I have decided to raise much deserved funds for this charity by joining Sean and co for the Great Birmingham Half Marathon in May 2022 Elsie is also getting in on the action and taking part in the Mini Run on the same day.

Many family members and friends have been roped in. Some are raising money for our other charity, Birmingham childrens hospital charity, who have also been amazing especially at Christmas where they were all spoilt with gifts.
