Running is hard. Running 13.1 miles is hard. Dealing with cancer is hard. Macmillan are there to make it easier and I'm running to help fund their work and make that easier. It's my way of giving back to them - please help me.
I'm running my first Half Marathon to raise money for the amazing people at Macmillan Cancer Support. During my Dad's fight against cancer and his recovery the Macmillan nurses have been there to support him and us. Their work is invaluable. If you have suffered with cancer or know someone who has, you will understand why I want to raise money for them.
Donations make 98% of Macmillan's income, so please donate some money, even if it's a couple of pounds and support the great work they do. I promise I will run hard and fast and do you proud!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the soles of my running shoes!
