The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Bath Mind are a local and independent mental health charity working across B&NES and Wiltshire. They receive no funding from national Mind.

Our company, Emberson Group Ltd (www.embersongroup.com) chose Bath Mind as our charity of the year because they do fantastic work promoting and nurturing everyone’s mental health through the provision of information, activities, advice and support. We believe that mental health is as important as physical health, particularly through these challenging times.

General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income.

The challenges we are undertaking are:

1. Natalie Sweet - 26 Joe Wicks workouts in 2.6 weeks

2. Alex Hudd - walking 26 miles in a week and doing a 2.6 minute plank

3. Claire Bridges - selling 26 home grown plants

4. Jenna Randall-Smith - running 26 miles in a week

5. Helen Webber - 26 days of splits stretching

6. Andy Graham - running 5k in under 26 mins

7. Clare Pratt - a run or a Joe Wicks workout for a min of 26 mins per day x 26 days

8. Mel Martin - 26 miles cycling over 2.6 days
