One Team, Microsoft Datacenter Ops EMEA, will walk virtually 16,595KM to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.

We are inspired by the work of Alzheimer's Society, providing support to those in need through the UK and wanted to support them by raising money by participating in Microsoft's EMEA walking across EMEA charity event.

During the month of October Microsoft employees are encouraged to GIVE back their time and talent supporting worthy causes that support community and social impact. This month the Microsoft Datacenter employees across EMEA have come together to face the bold and ambitious task of walking across EMEA 🌍

With COVID19 restrictions facing many countries across the EMEA region, we have created this virtual event and as One Team... One EMEA Approach... we aim to walk 16,595KM. 

Starting Monday, October 19th employees will walk 🚶‍♀️, run 🏃‍♀️, cycle 🚴‍♂️ as many kilometres a day tracking their distance and uploading to their v-team lead. Don't forget to share your photo's 📸 along the way, we look forward to seeing everyone who has registered taking part. 

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
