Morocco High Atlas Trek · 27 August 2016

Loughborough University students are trekking the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains in 2016 for The Children's Society to help children and young people who suffer extreme hardship, abuse and neglect.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 27th August, I will begin my trek through the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains, ending by climbing Mount Toubkal (2/3 the height of Mt. Kilimanjaro). I am doing this to raise funds for The Children's Society.

The Children's Society aims to help improve the lives of children living in the UK, fighting child poverty and neglect. They're working towards a society where all children are free from disadvantage.

The Children's Society has had a massive impact on the lives of many, working directly last year with 34,000 young people, and instigating policy change that will affect the lives of over 1.8 million vulnerable children and young people. I'm thrilled to be able to do my small bit to contribute to such an amazing charity.

Donations of any size, no matter how small, could benefit a child or young person suffering in more ways that you can imagine. It could really make a fantastic difference.

Thank you, and wish me luck!
