There are more slaves today than ever before in History and this is even happening on our continent...girls are being trafficked / taken from Bulgaria into Greece on the promise of a job and better lifestyle when in fact they are being tricked into the sex industry. They are systematically raped and beaten by their captors until any hint of the girl has been erased and replaced by a toy, a tool that these men can use over and over and over again.  

Well, I want to do something about that and one way I can help is by raising awareness and funds. So I've joined up with a men's movement called 4M - who are inspiring thousands of men to stand up for justice and speak out. And men and women are going to run a marathon right down the roads and over the border where these girls are taken. Right through the same streets and past the break houses that are used and with every step, we will say -- in our hundreds: ENOUGH! To the girls, we want you to know that there is an army of people who care about you and are fighting for your freedom.

Each athlete raises £10k but I want to add a zero and try and raise £100,000!- that's a huge amount of money - and it goes directly to A21 who are working in Greece. So they will be gifted £100's of thousands of pounds and every time I tell this story, perhaps someone else will be inspired to say 'no' / 'enough' too…

You can do something HUGE- help me raise a HUGE amount of money! With my friend Lou, I'm going to raise £100k to aid the work that A21 does. I know this charity and I trust them with my money. Please would you sponsor me ? I've no idea how I will hit the £100k total but my husband is also running a 'Muskathlon' next year (justgiving.com/JamesRay4M) and he tells me I need to raise £446 per day or £3,125 per week or £12,500 per month so that I can run the marathon in May. Perhaps you could sponsor one of those segments of time? This week, I spent £479 on food shopping this month.........could I have given up a the chocolate brioches for the sake of these poor abused girls? Could you?
