Colin, Emily and Toby run The Great North Run

Great North Run 2021 · 12 September 2021 ·
This September, Colin, Toby and Emily will be running The Great North Run half marathon in aid of Brain Research UK, a charity that provides funding for vital research into neurological conditions.
This charity is very close to all of our hearts as we will be running in memory of our Grandfather/Father-in-Law, Peter Wilson, who very sadly died last August, less than a month after being diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, a very rare and aggressive form of brain tumour. Brain Research UK are now conducting valuable research into this rare disease which currently has a very low survival rate.
In October 2019, Colin and Emily ran the Oxford Half Marathon together as Colin’s ‘last half marathon’; however, when Toby expressed an interest in running his first half marathon this year, Colin could not resist dusting off his trainers for one last half marathon.
Please support us by donating as much as possible for this incredible charity and help us reach our goal in memory of a very special person in our lives.
