I'm supporting Shine by taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon 2022!Shine provides specialist support from before birth and throughout the life of anyone living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, as well as to parents, families, carers and professional care staff. 

As many of you may know, I myself had hydrocephalus at a year old and was treated with a VP shunt. Shine has supported me and my family my whole life with information and documents such as medical alert cards. Thanks to a number of amazing medical teams, my awesome family and the support of Shine, I have been very lucky and am barely affected by the condition today. Others, however, are not so fortunate and need more support, which is why I'm giving back to Shine by running the Cardiff Half to raise money for them!
