Elizabeth was a truly amazing friend and had a special way of brightening anyone’s day. Her joyful energy motivated me to go on many an early morning run, and I always found my outlook was a bit more cheerful after spending time with her. Years ago, she started the tradition of running the Cherry Blossom 10 Mile Race in DC, and she recruited many of her friends to join her. Elizabeth was Midshore Riverkeeper Conservancy's 2015-2016 Chesapeake Conservation Corps Volunteer. She was dedicated to clean water, engaging others with their rivers, and serving as an environmental steward in every way. She brought enthusiasm and joy to every task.
