Story
CALM is a charity close to my heart. I’m proud (and somewhat horrified) to be running the Brighton Marathon to raise money and awareness for them this April.
6 years ago, I lost my older indestructible brother to suicide. I’m running to keep his spirit close to me but also for everyone else that’s had to go through the awful ordeal of losing someone to suicide, with the hope of opening conversation and preventing others from going through such a tragic loss.
The past two years have been a rollercoaster for our collective mental health. Emerging from these challenging times, any donation for services like CALM could help save any one of us.
Any donation you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Every call costs around £8 - that call could save the life of a friend or a loved one. Please help them to help us. Yet also through openly talking and checking in with each other we’ll make progress happen.
Thank you. I’m super grateful for any donations and mostly thankful for all of your support over the years.
