Story

Thank you for visiting my sponsorship page.

The tiny little baby in the photo is my wonderful boyfriend Sam, born at just 29 weeks and weighing only 3lb, the equivalent of three bags of sugar. The research funded by Action Medical Research helped Sam to make a full recovery. And I hope it can continue to do so for many other babies and young children far into the future. Especially as my friends and family are starting families of their own.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years they’ve helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people. Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths. But they urgently need to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and they can’t do it without our support.

Join the fight for little lives.
