My name is Paul, On October 23rd 2013 my whole world was turned upside down, suddenly at the age of 37 I suffered intracranial brain haemorrhage or known to most as a stroke, I have learnt strokes do not just effect the elderly. Though I am extremely lucky to still be on this earth the stroke has left me with a weakness down my left hand side, and I have no use of my left arm/hand and am now wheelchair user. I was predicted that if I did awake from my emergency surgery I would be vegetated and never to walk again. Though this tragedy as hit me hard I've found a new lease to life and wish to live it to the full! I've always wanted to skydive and I'm not going to let the stroke stop me like it has many things in my life.
East Anglia Air Ambulance does an amazing job saving lives and solely relies on donations. I was almost in a position where I was going to have to use their services to be air lifted for life saving surgery but it was thought best and safer for me to travel via ambulance. My point is you just never know what life may throw at you and when you or a family member or friend could possibly need their services. For these reasons im taking the jump!
I would be so grateful for any donations no matter what amount, every penny counts. I do however need to raise a minimum of 350 pounds to be able to take the dive!
Ps I will be dressed as santa!!ho ho hoooooooo
