I'm running the Paris marathon in a couple of weeks to raise some much needed funds for CLIC Sargent. A really worthwhile charity, they raise much needed funds to support children and young people who are diagnosed with cancer. Once diagnosed, treatment normally starts immediately, in centers and hospitals that can be far from home. Its a really scary time for children and their families. The practical and financial implications for families are challenging and - during an already frightening time - they shouldn't be. CLIC Sargent provide practical, financial and emotional support to children and their families - helping these little people live full lives during this scary time.
