St Catherine's Hospice walkers are taking on a challenging hike through the Sussex countryside to help the hospice be there for local people and those close to them when life comes full circle

Story

Helen, Martine, Julia and Kara and I are fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity that supports families and individuals facing death and bereavement. The moment Duncan was diagnosed as having terminal cancer St Catherine's stepped into our lives offering support and care through their family support and nursing team. We want to give a little something back so that other families are able to benefit from the care that St Catherine's offer, it has made a huge difference to our family and is an incredibly special place. At a time of great sadness the hospice is a place that offers kindness and space to be together, it is not as you'd perhaps expect a sad place to be, it's a happy place. Currently only 1 in 3 are able to access the outstanding support that they offer. They rely upon donations and are raising money to build a larger hospice in which they will be able to support more families. Anything you are able to donate will help them to continue supporting families like ours so thank you.
