I started volunteering with SAVTE in 2020 and saw the amazing work SAVTE do first hand. Through supporting my learner, I saw her confidence and language ability grow, culminating in her applying to go to college! In 2022 I did a two-month placement at SAVTE and got to see the range of support and tuition they offer e.g. through conversation groups, volunteer training and more.

I wanted to fundraise for SAVTE to support their work - and thought one half marathon wouldn't be enough - so I am doing two in two weeks! Starting with the Chichester Harbour Half Marathon on the 11th March and finishing with the Sheffield Half Marathon on the 26th March I will be running 26 miles in total!
