Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer. Founded in 1974, by growing our register of stem cell donors, conducting research and supporting patients, Anthony Nolan cures blood cancer and blood disorders. But we need to do more. Without you, there is no cure.

Story

As many of you will know in September 2016 I lost one of my best friends Rebecca to blood cancer. Unfortunately Rebecca never received a stem cell transplant and the second chance at life it could have given her, it's for this reason that I got involved with the Anthony Nolan charity through my university group KCL Marrow which I am proud to say I am currently president of.

The money raised from this race will go towards the Anthony Nolan charity's work in the effort to beat blood cancer and find everyone the life saving match they need to recover.  This will help give other young people like Rebecca the future they deserve.

Rebecca, you know I am one of the least active people in the world but every step of this will be in memory of you x

Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. They do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells, to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. They also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. They won’t stop until they save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings them closer to that day.
