Story
Over these past few days I've debated whether to write anything, especially as things could have been so different; potentially worse. But I need to share how amazing the NHS is; regardless of pandemic.
This "Thank You" is to the paramedics, midwives, doctors, consultants, health carers, anaesthetists, cleaners, porters & the NICU team who were on standby; thank you for keeping me and Baby Mintern safe since Wednesday 22nd April.
From checking reduced movements, to rushing me into hospital, to preparing for delivering a 28 week old baby, to keeping me stable and baby safely still inside cooking.
Words will never be enough, but the extra days/weeks/hopefully months that you've given us are something that Adam and I can never repay.
The way you are all handling COVID and still being the absolute super star humans that you are is mind-blowing.
I can only remember a handful of names, but please know that your reassurances and smiles (even behind your masks!) are never to be forgotten ❤️
Baby Mintern may still arrive early & she's going to have the best care imaginable if she does. For now she's practicing her break dancing in my tummy 😂
Please help me in thanking the Southmead Maternity Services by making a donation ❤️
