My very good friend has Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and I have seen just how very nasty and debilitating the condition is.

I am disabled and  will be doing the challenge  in a wheelchair.I love participating in sport and this challenge means a lot to me. I managed 1/2 of the London Marathon before a wheelchair malfunction forced me to quit. It was heartbreaking as I knew I could have done it in a functional wheelchair.  I can’t wait for the Great North Run on Sept 8th.

Anything you can sponsor me will be greatly appreciated by both me and The Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Raising money and awareness of disability sport are the real successes of this wheelchair challenge.
