Dogs In Brazil was founded in 2011 after devastating mudslides north of Rio de Janeiro. A husband/wife team has devoted their lives to making a difference. With so many street dogs, we focus on the worst cases, in hopes of saving, healing and finding them the furever homes they deserve.

Story

Please help Jan & Carlos who are drowning in bills and would really appreciate an extra boost right now.  They have almost 130 dogs in their care, many needing constant medical treatment.

The food costs alone are over $3000 per month, with medical costs including vaccines, spay, flea & tick treatment, plus more specialist diabetes costs close to $13000.  On top of this are utility bills for keeping the dogs (and 2 cats) clean and watered.  They need this amount each month, but please please donate now if you can, if not - please share.

They desperately need donations, and if you can - sponsor a dog monthly.  NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL.

Please meet Hudson who arrived with tick disease, pneumonia and awful burns to his back, who was treated and cared for by DIB before being adopted in Canada.  This is just ONE of the dogs cared for and loved by this very small group of people and now living a very happy life.  They want to help more but cannot continue without your support.
