Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page raising money for The PACE Centre, who provide intensive therapy and educational programmes for children and young people with physical disabilities.
Jamie has been attending PACE since he was around 2 years old. Through their amazing input Jamie has progressed in so many ways. While he takes some time to achieve his milestones, he's smashing them. One of his current challenges is to learn to use a scooter. PACE has set all the children who attend a challenge, called 'The Children's Challenge'. Children will be completing their challenges at Stoke Mandeville Stadium and they will then be awarded medals on completion of their task. Jamie has been given the task of scooting around an obstacle course collecting objects along the way. This means Jamie not only has to master scooting, balance, and physical co-ordination to manoeuvre his scooter, but he also has to use two hands to hold the handles, stay focused for the duration of the task, and plan his movements. So it really is a BIG challenge for him. We're sure he'll achieve it, but we want to get as much support behind him so please donate generously!
