The Charity helps to fund a variety of projects to help improve patient care and services including improved facilities for patients and families; innovative technology; and research. It also supports staff with enhanced training to ensure they remain at the centre of clinical developments.

Story

On Sunday 28th September I'll be taking part in a charity zipwire challenge to support The Walton neuro centre and the great work that they do. The charity is known for its excellent neurosurgery, spinal and rehabilitation services.

I'll be doing the challenge to support my boyfriend and his family as they sadly lost their mum Jan Fairclough to a brain aneurysm. While Jan was at the Walton centre Tom, Dave & Sophie had nowhere comfortable to stay which made it harder as they did want to leave her side. What they now aim to do with your help is to raise funds to build accommodation for families who want to stay with their loved ones while they undergo treatment at the hospital.

It is a great cause and with your participation you can help the Walton centre reach their goal of 500,000.00 by December this year. Any donation you pledge would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for your time xx
