I am raising money and awareness for mental health illnesses. I have chosen the YoungMinds charity to fundraise for as their aim is to help children and young people with mental health illnesses like myself. 

Since the age of 14 years old, I have had constant battles with my anxiety and still do to this day. Experiencing this from a young age made me think I wasn't normal and not being sure what was wrong with me. I have had low confidence, body image issues and used to be really anxious in social situations. Dealing with anxiety has come with my head being the devils play ground and having break downs with not being able to mentally handle situations. Mental health is such a huge issue that many people suffer from. Raising money for this great charity is such a milestone in my journey to recovery as well as helping other people like myself, speaking up or dealing with their mental illness. 

Emotional abuse is an issue that many people aren't aware about. Unfortunately as it isn’t physical abuse, emotional abuse isn't seen as a problem. The psychological affects of this abuse, are noted online to can sometimes have a greater impact than physical abuse. It impacts peoples mental health and it can have long lasting psychological affects.

I am going to complete my Skydive on the 10th of February and the 3 Peaks Challenge on the 1st of June. Even a £1 donation would mean everything to go to this amazing charity.
