In October 2022, I am taking part in the Bath Half Marathon and running 13.1 miles to raise money for vulnerable cats and dogs. Please sponsor me! Every pound raised will go to Bath Cats and Dogs Home, who rescue, rehabilitate and rehome unwanted, abandoned and cruelly treated pets from Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire. In 2019 they cared for over 1,200 animals in need.

I started running properly during the first lockdown, and I think without that lockdown I’m not sure I’d be in this position now training for and signed up to the Bath Half. I am so glad I did as this charity is absolutely amazing. I love cats and dogs and think every animal should have the life they deserve. I hope the money I raise can help the Bath Cats and Dogs Home do that. 

I’m not a natural runner but I’m getting there and I am determined to do this for the deserving cats and dogs and the amazing people who work for this charity.
