Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are participating in the Wye Valley Challenge (https://www.wyevalleychallenge.com/the-challenge) in August 2018, where we will be walking a 45km route between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford, aiming to raise a minimum of £550 for Hft (https://www.hft.org.uk).

Hft (formerly the Home Farm Trust) is a UK based charity that aims to support adults with learning disabilities so that they may live fulfilling lives. They support over 2500 adults through both day and residential care, short breaks and home support to help with independent living.

Our great uncle, John Watkins, was one of the first six boys to join the Home Farm Trust when it started at Frocester Manor in 1962 and was there until his death in 2007. He lived such a rich and fulfilling life as a result of Hft and so we would like to raise money to help offer the same opportunities to other people.

We would be extremely grateful for your support and would welcome any donations you could give.
