Hello Everyone..

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As some of you may know I have wanted to run in a Great North Run for years and now i'm at Newcastle University I have no excuse not to!!!!

I was very happy to have gained a place in the 2009 Great North Run (13.1 miles - ahhhhh) to run for charity. This charity is Diabetes UK and having been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes last June it has been very valuable to me. It provides me and thousands of others with support, great tips and the knowledge needed to deal with such a life changing disease. This support is not just for those with diabetes but also to family, friends and anyone affected by it..

Plus it also has some great recipes to try!!!

Anyways my dad and myself are running on the 20th of September and I would really love if you could all help me reach my £400 target.. Anything you could spare would be a great help and I understand as many of you will be students money isn't easy to come by.. But just think of it as sacrificing a drink on a night out.. You might actually remember your night the next day!!! SO a bonus all round..
