Campaign by Sarcoma UK (RCN in England and Wales 1139869, Scotland SC044260)
Tom was incredibly brave throughout his experience, and wanted to help fund a cure for sarcoma. By raising funds in Tom's name, Wendy, her friends and family are helping us to fund vital research that will, ultimately, lead to a cure.

Story

Hi Everyone!!

Thanks for visiting my page :) I am running the London Marathon 2018 to raise money for Sarcoma UK in memory of a lovely childhood friend called Tom.

Sarcoma UK are the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat, so every penny can help! By donating to my page, you will fund vital research projects looking for better treatments. Your donation will help to raise more awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma so hopefully patients can get an early diagnosis. Sarcoma UK also use donations towards ensuring everyone has access to specialist advice.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this worthy cause- if you have any spare pennies (no matter how little) I would be so grateful for any amount of sponsorship! Training will be tough but hopefully with the support from my lovely family and friends (and a massive push on the old legs!!)  I will make it round and raise some money for an amazing cause.

Lots of love xxx
