Story
I am entering into a challenge to raise money for 'Reverse Rett', joining several others in the realistic attempt to find a cure for Hannah, and all other girls with this awful syndrome.
From 1st January 2015 until November 2015, I am aiming to lose 40lbs (just under 3 stone or 18kg). This is a massive challenge for me because I always fail at diets, it's a lot of weight to lose, and it will take long-term commitment and will power. However, I think it's possible if I am open about it, held accountable, and most of all, motivated by the fact I will be raising money for this cause.
From a personal point of view, this is certainly not about being skinny or looking good, but about being healthy and setting a good example to my own girls about healthy living as they grow up.
Thank you for all of your support already! Most of all, please keep raising awareness about Rett Syndrome.
