New page because Virgin Giving has closed down!

At the start of this year I could barely run 5k in one go. I started this year by setting a challenge to run every day of January, at the end of that it felt pretty good, so I aimed for 50 days, then 100 and then just kept going!

I would never have dreamed that this year I would run a marathon, and have run over 800 miles.

I have been running a range of distances across the year, but some days I just run a mile. To round the year and the challenge off nicely, and hopefully hit my fundraising target, I decided to finish by running 5k every day in December.
