Over 9 epic days, Ride Across Britain covers 970 miles of the most beautiful and scenic landscapes accessible on two wheels, from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

I had signed up for a more relaxed version of this ride in 2020, which was cancelled because of the pandemic. Two years later, it's back on the cards, but this time, I'm going to do it in 9 days. Because why not?! 

Its going to HURT! But it's also going to be great!

I'm fundraising for the Prince's Trust, who help level the playing field for young people by giving as many as possible the opportunity to create a better future through employment, education and enterprise. I've chosen the Trust because young people have had a particularly rough deal through the pandemic with disruptions to their eduction and the job market, and support for their work is more necessary than ever.

• Gent-Wevelgem, 28 Mar: 134 miles through the fields of Flanders in this springtime classic, with Penge CC
• Brixton CC Audax, 7 May: 125 hilly miles over the High Weald 
  
• Tour of Wessex, 2-4 June: 3 stage cyclosportive, covering 330 miles over 3 days, and climbing the famous Cheddar Gorge
• GritFest, 18-19 June: a 2 day, multi-stage gravel enduro event in mid-Wales.
